About the service: 

We are looking for an experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to work as a Theatre Manager to lead our theatre team. They will manage the theatre team and ensure an excellent level of care is provided to all our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a Theatre Manager to join a highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital on the northeast coast of Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Theatre Manager to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital. The hospital offers a range of services including orthopaedics treatment/surgeries, aesthetic and cosmetics treatments, neuro, cardio, ENT, gastro, urology, ophthalmology, gynae vascular, general and more! Although it’s a small team they have a great sense of community and they pride themself on patient care. 

A little bit about the role:
You will be working as a Theatre Manager with our Theatre team and will be responsible for:

  • Manage the theatre team and ensure an excellent level of care.
  • Be an expert in a multiplicity of surgical procedures.
  • Dealing with emergencies within the Anaesthetic and Operating Theatre Department
  • Ability to provide highly specialised emergency knowledge – ex
  • Highly developed physical/clinical skills where accuracy is important
  • Daily contact with substances hazardous to health

All applicants for the role of Theatre Manager must have the following:

  • Be NMC / HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Surgical Assistant Qualification
  • At least 4 years UK theatre experience
  • Experience managing a team within a similar setting
  • Knowledge of CQC
  • IT skills covering Word and Excel

Person Specification: All applicants for the role of Theatre Manager must have a valid NMC / HCPC  registration with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. At least 4 years UK Theatre experience and previous managerial experience is essential for this position.
