About the hospital;
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Senior Nurse in Pre-Assessment to join a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based in Worcester. If you are an experienced Pre- Assessment Nurse this is a great opportunity to join their friendly and enthusiastic Pre- Assessment team. The hospital undertakes a range of procedures including orthopaedic, urological, cosmetic, spinal, gynaecological and general surgical procedures. The services has 4 theatres, 25 beds, a state- of- the- art endoscopy suite, oncology suite and dedicated clinics. The team are passionate about the high quality care they provide and looking for a like minded Pre- Assessment Senior Nurse to join the team.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Nurse in the Pre-Assessment team and will be responsible for:

  • Support the ongoing development of the Pre-Operative assessment service
  • Ensuring safe and effective pre-operative care
  • Support in assessing patient’s health  and well-being across complex and changing caseload
  • Lead the team
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services

 Who we’re looking for

  • Be NMC registered RGN – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 years UK experience in Pre-Assessment
  • Experience leading a team
  • Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
  • Strong communication skills
