A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Pharmacy Technician to join a highly reputable hospital in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This bright and vibrant hospital is ideally situated in the centre of Lincoln and is within easy reach of local shops, amenities and public transport links. The service provides all major specialities and a 24 major accident and emergency service. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Pharmacy Technician to join a friendly and experienced team.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Pharmacy Technician and responsible for the following;

  • Dispensing from prescriptions previously vetted by a Pharmacist
  • Ensuring items are accurately supplied, stock items repackaged and relabelled
  • Dispensing from validated standard worksheets
  • Pre-filled chemotherapy syringes against a vetted prescription
  • Ingredients assembled for chemotherapy dispensing
  • Manufacture, dispense and give advice on pharmaceutical products
  • Work across wards and pharmacy department

Who we’re looking for

  • NVQ/ BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent Registered pharmacy technician
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • GPHC registration with no restrictions
  • At least 1 years experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in hospital or retail in the UK
  • Maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
