A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Critical Care Nurse to join a highly reputable and leading private hospital based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Critical Care Nurse to join their friendly and caring Critical Care Team. The hospital has a reputation of providing high quality care and has been recently awarded an “OUTSTANDING” CQC rating. This is a great position for a driven Critical Care Nurse to work within a supportive team in a hospital that boasts excellent facilities. The hospital offers a range of specialist treatments including paediatric care and critical care.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Critical Care Nurse within the critical care team and will be responsible for the following;

  • Delivering excellent patient care to post-surgical patients in a critical care environment
  • Assess and plan patient care for a complex and changing caseload
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
  • Promote best practice
  • Promote equality, diversity and rights
  • Contribute to quality improvement

Who we’re looking for

  • Be NMC registered RGN – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 years recent UK experience in a critical care setting
  • Cardiac experience essential
  • CCU course essential 
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
