We are delighted to be recruiting for a ODP / Theatre Nurse to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital on the northeast coast of Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ODP/ Theatre Nurse to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital. The hospital offers a range of services including orthopaedics treatment / surgeries, aesthetic and cosmetics treatments, neuro, cardio, ENT, gastro, urology, ophthalmology, gynae vascular, general and more! Although it’s small team they have great sense of community and they pride themself on patient care. 

A little bit about the role:

You will be working with ODP / Theatre Nurse as part of our Theatre team and will be responsible for:

 

  • To provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative department and to assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the theatre Team in the operating department across a range of clinical specialities.
  • Discuss, agree and explain the responsibilities for the assessment of patients including their needs and any associated risks.
  • Plan, delivery and evaluate care to meet patient’s health and wellbeing, keeping within policies and procedures inline for the highest quality clinic outcomes
  • Effective verbal and written commination with patients and colleagues, with customer service standards front of mind
  • Working well independently and within a team
  • Carry out elective day case surgeries

 

All applicants for the role of ODP / Theatre Nurse must have the following:

 

  • Be NMC / HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 1 years UK experience working in theatre
  •  Acute hospital experience and working within theatre
  • Experience working in a busy environment under minimal supervision
