About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Norwich. The hospital has state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Theatre Nurse / ODP to join their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Theatre Nurse / ODP to join them. The service offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT and general surgery.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as part of the theatre team as a Scrub Nurse / ODP and responsible for the following;

  • Support across a variety of operations including Orthopaedics, joint replacements, plastics, gyne, ENT and general
  • Prepare patients for surgery and caring for patients undergoing procedures
  • Review patient charts and confirm data
  • Ensure medical equipment is prepared for surgery
  • Monitor patients condition throughout surgery
  • Cover Anaesthetic duties as and when required
  • Supporting patients through their recovery period post-surgery
  • Pass equipment to surgeon

Who we’re looking for

  • Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 years UK experience in scrub in the UK is essential
  • Experience working under minimal supervision
  • Passion for high quality care
  • Excellent communication skills
