About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for a Nurse / ODP qualified Theatre Manager to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital in Chelmsford. The hospital is ideally situated in Chelmsford and is within easy reach of public transport links and local amenities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Theatre Manager to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital in their expanding theatre team in Chelmsford. The hospital offers a range of services including surgery, medicine, oncology, plastic and cosmetic surgery and Paediatrics. The hospital is well equipped with modern facilities and has a day unit and high dependency unit.
 
About the role:
The role of Theatre Manager will be managing the theatre team and you will be responsible for;

  • Management and leadership of the theatre team including 6 operating theatres
  • Effectively implement and support quality, commercial and strategic initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, senior teams and a range of healthcare professionals and patients
  • Develop and motivate the team driving their performance
  • Manage a busy and thriving theatre department

Who we’re looking for;
All applications for the role of Theatre Manager must meet the following criteria;

  • Valid NMC / HCPC registration- you must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 years UK experience as a Theatre Manager or Deputy Theatre Manager
  • Demonstrable experience of identifying issues and ability to consider and action solutions
  • Demonstrable ability to lead continuous change process in a healthcare facility and achieve sound outcomes through positive team engagement.
  • Proven experience of motivating and managing a team

Person Specification: All applicants for the role of Theatre Manager  must have a valid NMC / HCPC registration with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. At least 3 years experience in the UK as a Theatre Manager or Deputy Manager is essential for this position.
