Salary: £28,407 – £34,581 (negotiable based on experience)
Hours: 37.5 FTE (Part-time hours available)

About Us

At Appoint Healthcare, we are proud to collaborate with a leading national provider of health and social care services, specialising in neurological rehabilitation for young people and adults.

Our state-of-the-art, 48-bed Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Leatherhead is dedicated to supporting individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries, strokes, incomplete spinal injuries, and neurological illnesses. We also provide long-term, complex care for those living with neurological conditions, combining personalised therapy with 24-hour nursing support.

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated, multi-disciplinary therapy team.

About the Role

At our modern Leatherhead facility, you’ll work alongside a friendly and dynamic multi-disciplinary team of nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, all committed to delivering the highest standards of care.

As a valued member of our expert SLT team, you will:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to adults with acquired communication and/or swallowing difficulties in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, through individual or group interventions.
  • Develop and implement SLT programmes and services under the guidance of Senior Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Play a key role in monitoring and achieving quality standards in care delivery.

About You

We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional who meets the following criteria:

  • Qualifications: A recognised degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
  • Membership: Active membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy (RCSLT).
  • Specialist Interest: A strong passion for neurorehabilitation and empowering clients with complex neurological disabilities.
