About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Senior Nurse to join a fantastic Private Hospital in Tunbridge Wells. The hospital boasts excellent facilities including 2 operating theatres, a sterile services department, endoscopy suite and a fully equipped diagnostic and imaging department. The hospital offers outpatients and physiotherapy departments providing services six days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse to join a friendly and experienced surgical ward team. The team are passionate about high quality care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and are looking for a like-minded Senior Nurse to join them.  

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Nurse on the surgical ward and will be responsible for;

  • Manage the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of planned care for patients
  • Display effective management of clinical teams in a safe and caring environment
  • Support the Ward Manager and Head of Clinical Services in the overall management of healthcare team
  • Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices
  • Develop and improve services

Who we’re looking for

  • Be NMC registered – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Must be working in a band 5 position currently
  • Experience of working in the UK as a sister/ senior nurse in a surgical unit
  • Minimum of 5 years experience gained within an acute setting
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
