About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Senior Dialysis Nurse to join a warm and welcoming private clinic based in Crawley, West Sussex. The clinic has a fantastic team of friendly staff who are passionate about the role they do and take great pride in the person-centred care that they provide to each and every patient. We are looking for a link- minded Senior Dialysis Nurse to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Dialysis Nurse to work for a growing organisation in one of their bright and vibrant clinics. The clinic boasts excellent facilities for both their patients and their staff.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Dialysis Nurse and will be responsible for the following duties;
- Act as a mentor for the team, guiding and sharing knowledge and skills
- Be the Nurse in Charge and occasionally deputise for the Clinic Manager when required
- Ensure exceptional patient centred care is delivered at all times
- Take ownership of care programs for renal patients
- Perform patient assessments throughout
- Prepare and monitor dialysis machines and systems
- Review pre and post- haemodialysis care with patients
Who we’re looking for
- Be NMC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A minimum of 2 years UK experience as a Renal Dialysis Nurse
- In possession of, or working towards, a post-registration clinical course in Renal Nursing (ENB 136 or equivalent).
- Mentorship/Teaching Qualification desirable
- Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
- Excellent communication skills
