About the service: 
We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital on the outskirts of Southport, Lancashire. The hospital is ideally situated in between Southport and Ormskirk and is within easy reach of local shops and amenities. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated Finance Manager to work for a leading private healthcare organisation. The role is based on site at the hospital and involves being a key member of the hospital Senior Leadership Team.

About the role:
You will be working as a Finance Manager and will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day finance and administrative functions of the hospital
  • Producing monthly management accounts and finance reports
  • Prepare and review the monthly finance pack
  • Provide management information and reports on a broad range of financial and administrative issues
  • Support Senior Leadership team to manage and improve labour costs, efficiency and resource management
  • Support the NHS contract management process
  • Lead the teams to successfully deliver high volumes of activity and ensure KPI’s are met
  • Partner with business leaders to assess the effectiveness of processes and ongoing profitability of clinical procedures

Who we’re looking for:

  • A qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CMA )
  • Previous experience in a healthcare sector highly desirable
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and utilise data to improve organisational performance
  • Identify opportunities for improvements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to take responsibility for guiding and directing the actions of others to achieve goals
  • Honesty, integrity and ethics
