Deputy Ward Manager – CAMHS and Eating Disorders   
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse – RMN or RNLD ( Mental Health Nurse and / or Learning Disability Nurse ) to work within a brand new Eating Disorders and CAMHS Hospital in Wolverhampton as a Deputy Ward Manager. You must have experience in a similar setting to be eligible for this role ( PICU, CAMHS or Eating Disorders)  

  • Location: Wolverhampton 
  • Salary:  Registered Nurse £45,000 – £48,000 per annum) – negotiable depending on your experience 
  • Hours: Full Time 40 HOURS PER WEEK 
  • Shifts: Days only or nights only can be considered though ideally as a senior member of the team you will meet the needs of the service  

This specialist eating disorder service is for young people aged 13-18 years whose needs can no longer be met in the community.  Our therapeutic approach is underpinned by the STEP Model 
You will be working in our brand new state of the art 15 Bed CAMHS Eating Disorders Hospital in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent time to join a forward thinking organisation with huge growth plans over the next 5 years. The Hospital Manager is an experienced RMN previously managed an established TIER 4 Eating Disorders intensive care unit achieving a good CQC across the board and an outstanding Ofsted.
The Role: Supporting the ward manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the clinical service, working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team. Deputy Ward Manager is an exciting role where you will take leadership responsibilities and develop your clinical leadership, while maintaining your hands-on nursing skills. The emphasis of this role is about promoting clinical expertise and teaching, whilst being a key member of the ward leadership team

Location: The Service is very easily accessed by car and they have a local bus stop so they are very accessible via public transport. They have free parking on site.
