As Deputy Manager ( Nurse / RGN / RMN ), you’ll support the care home operations to meet or exceed goals while ensuring high-quality care. You’ll oversee care staff and manage the care home in the Manager’s absence. You’ll train and supervise staff, assist with resident pre-admission assessments, maintain care plans and records, and facilitate communication with families and other organisations.
The Care Home:
Registered for up to 71 service users, providing nursing, residential and dementia care. The care home has excellent reviews and feedback from residents and families. The care home always put the residents at the heart of everything they do – always providing the highest standards of care.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
- NMC PIN – ( Nurse / RGN / RMN )
- The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
- The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing team.
- Ability to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.
