• Location: Thorniliebank , Glasgow
• Salary: £22.23 – £23.23p/h up to £53,100 per annum The actual rate of pay will be within these advertised bandings and will be dependent on your ability to demonstrate your competence during the interview.
• Hours: Full time Days or Nights 44h
• Contract Type: Permanent

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Dementia Nurse Practitioner ( RGN / RMN ) to join our dedicated team in a newly opened Dementia care community within our home.

As a Dementia Nurse Practitioner ( RGN / RMN ) , you’ll ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in providing specialist care for individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours, focusing on person-centred approaches and therapeutic interventions.
 You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, offering support, education, mentoring staff, while ensuring the highest standards of care.
 Restraint training is desirable, however not essential.

The role as a Dementia Nurse Practitioner ( RGN / RMN )
 

• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for individuals with dementia.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve well-being.
• Provide guidance and training to care staff.
• Collaborate with health, social, and voluntary services for coordinated care.
