About the Home:
Our fantastic care home is located in Perth in a lovely area with good public transport links. It is a welcoming and friendly home with a dedicated team of staff. Residents have access to wide range of care provision with a clear focus on person centred care.  The home provides care high quality care to older adults with complex needs including dementia and Alzheimer’s. Our aim is to ensure resident have choice and support to be involved in their care and decision making and remain as active and independent as possible whilst having the support and care of our dedicated staff. We are looking for an experienced Care Home Manager to join the team and help drive positive change and quality care.
About the role:
As the Home Manager, you will oversee and maintain responsibility for all aspects of care and activity within the home, delivering the best quality care. Always seeking to share your experience, you will provide valuable support, guidance, and assistance to the rest of our care staff. This role would be ideal for someone with strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for healthcare, positive change and an inspirational management style to motivate the team around you. You will have experience developing and building strong relationships with Local Authorities, CQC and Primary Care Trust Commissioners. You will be the forefront in leading the team in ensuring safe and effective care is always provided, guiding, and supporting the team to ensure CQC compliance standards are maintained, taking appropriate action where needed. You will lead all operational aspects working alongside the senior management team to develop and strengthen clinical practise, systems and processes, maintain staffing levels and create effective strategies for the direction of growth of the home.
Requirements:

  • Proven track record of Good CQC ratings in previous nursing home management roles
  • Previous management experience in nursing homes
  • Confident managing a clinical staff
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
  • Valid NMC pin preferred but not essential
  • Strong commercial awareness
