About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Anaesthetics Practitioner / Nurse to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Norwich. The hospital has state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Anaesthetics Practitioner / Nurse  to join their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Anaesthetics Practitioner / Nurse to join them. The service offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT and general surgery.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as part of the theatre team as an Anaesthetics Practitioner / Nurse and responsible for the following;

  • Prepare the operating theatre / anaesthetic room for surgery
  • Prepare the instrumentation, supplies and equipment that will be required for procedures
  • Working across a range of operative procedures
  • Ensure waste is kept to a minimum
  • Run theatre list without supervision and perform anaesthetic duties
  • Supervise and train junior members of staff

Who we’re looking for

  • Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Registered Nurse with Anaesthetics module
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 1 year Anaesthetics experience in UK is essential
  • Experience in orthopaedics is essential
  • Recovery experience is desirable
  • Experience working under minimal supervision
  • Passion for high quality care
  • Excellent communication skills
